Preschool has enrollment forms available at the office for children 3, 4, and 5 yr old –if your birthday is before August 1, 2008.

Thank you to everyone who donated to the American Heart Association during the Edison Elementary Jump Rope-A-Thon. Students in Kindergarten through Third Grade participated in this event and collect a total of $3,249.00! All students have received their “Thank You Gifts” from the American Heart Association. A portion of the money collected will be coming back to the school to buy physical education equipment. Thank you again for your support as we fight against heart disease and childhood obesity.

On Wednesday March 27, 2013 the Sandusky Register printed a story about the Edison School District creating a 3 year plan on the use of the money in the permanent improvement funds. There was a major error in the article which stated that the district planned to spend $500,000 on the upgrade of the baseball and softball fields. The correct number is $50,000 and the cost would be split with the athletic boosters.

The Edison Board of Education and the Edison Teachers Association have reached an agreement on a new two year contract covering the 98 teachers employed by the district. In the deal the Teachers have agreed to concessions that will help the district during their current financial struggles. The two year deal will help the financially strapped District save $339,505 over the course of the agreement.
