Edison local schools was recently honored for their excellent financial and auditing skills. Pictured (from left) are Anne Spence, Auditor of State's Office liaison, Anne Arnold, Treasurer, Hope Barker and Pamela Smith, assistants to the treasurer. To receive the award, an entity must file timely financial reports with the Auditor of State’s office in the form of a Comprehensive Annual Financial Report. The audit report must not contain any findings for recovery, material citations, material weaknesses, significant deficiencies, single audit findings, or questioned costs. Only about 5% of the 4800 audits done statewide receive this honor.
