Morning Announcements - Tuesday, June 2, 2026

Tickets for the 8th grade dance are being sold today, June 2 and tomorrow, June 3 during homeroom and at lunch from Mrs. Bishop. The cost of an admission ticket is $5 and no tickets will be sold at the door. If you have any questions, see Mrs. Bishop. The 8th grade dance is this Wednesday, June 4 from 6:30 -8:30 pm. in the cafeteria. You may bring your phone or camera to take pictures during the first 15 minutes. After 15 minutes, we will collect your phone or camera, and you will get them back at the end of the dance.

Attention 6th and 7th grade girls trying out for cheerleading this week. You need to be dressed and ready to start in the gym by 3:05 today. Please be prompt!

The trivia answer is that there are over 8000 varieties of grapes grown worldwide.

Morning Announcements - Friday, May 29, 2026

We will now announce the winners of today’s Calendar Raffle. Today’s May 29 package A is a lemon grapevine wreath. The winner is Jenessa Faller and this ticket was sold by Ryelle Faller. Today’s May 28 package B is a camping chair. The winner of this prize is Crystal Matter and the ticket was sold by Gabe Matter.

There is a meeting from 3-5pm today for any 6th or 7th grade student council rep who is available to help with a writing project.

Morning Announcements - Thursday, May 28, 2026

On Thursday May 28, there will be a short meeting from 2:30-2:45pm in the Middle School Cafeteria for any current 8th grade girls who are interested in playing high school girls soccer next school year.  There will also be a parents meeting on Thursday, May 28 starting at 6:15pm in the High School Library for parents of future or current high school girls soccer players.  Coach Fry will be at both meetings to go over important information and answer any questions there may be.

For only $22 you can still buy a 2025-2026 EMS yearbook. It’s a first come, first serve basis. See Mrs. Bishop to buy one.
