Good Morning Everyone!

Today is Friday, September 11, 2026. 

It was 25 years ago, that America was under attack on this day.  Two planes were flown into the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City; a third plane hit the Pentagon and a fourth plane crashed into a field in Pennsylvania.  

The lunch menu for today is a personal pan pizza, or Daily Grab & Go, fresh salad with dressing, mini Rice Krispie, fruit choice and milk.

The weather report for today is sunny with a few passing clouds and a high of 79. 

Today’s trivia question is: How many first responders died while trying to save others during the 9/11 attacks?

The seventh grade Chargers football team lost to Huron 22 to 0 last night. 

Gabe Lucal, Jackson Hudson, and Jonah Slie had several tackles for loss.  

On offense Levi wells had a nice 30 yard catch.  

The 7th grade plays Norwalk at home next Thursday. 

The 8th Grade football team defeated Huron 38–0! Grant Schnittker, Dom Shelley, Austin Quillen, and Blake McKinnon all scored rushing touchdowns, and Cooper Schaeffer threw a touchdown pass to Dom Shelley. On two-point conversions, Silas Watson, Cooper Schaeffer, Grant Schnittker, and Dom Shelley all contributed.

The defense as a whole played very well putting together a shutout, highlighted by a Jameson Leber’s interception, Austin Quillen’s fumble recovery, and Grant Schnittker’s blocked punt recovered by Gabe Matter. 

Today is Student Council Election Day.  Candidates should meet Mrs. Bishop in front of the stage when your grade 

enters the gym during specials.  

The trivia answer is that over 400 first responders died while trying to save others during the attacks.
