The Soviak Foundation is collecting items to be donated to the Humane Society of Erie County.  Friday, Sept. 25 is the last day donations are accepted.  Donations include canned cat food, heavy duty 13 gallon trash bags, or paper towels.  A complete list was included in the Final forms email that went out yesterday.  

The Edison Middle School cross country teams ran in one of the largest races in the state this past weekend at the Tiffin Carnival.
The girls finished 14th out of 30 teams and the boys were 30 out of 39 teams.
Leading the females was Parker Towns with a PR of 13:38 and a 29th place finish and behind her was Jillian Chase with a 13:59.  
Also running personal best times were Natalie Salmons, Scarlett Tieche, and Cora Daniel.  
The boys were led by Tristan Rogers with a personal best time of 13:40, followed by Liam Jones.
Also running personal best times for the boys was Bridger Hogue and Parker Carmack.
The teams run next weekend in Lakota.

The 8th grade volleyball team dominated at Huron last night winning in two sets. Laney Trueman led the Chargers with 9 service points. Meredith Hill was close behind with 7 service points and Miley Thurston contributed 6. Harper Buttermore, Quilla Webb, and Lilly McCoy played a great hitting game while the defensive players picked up some great digs. Emmallee Seville and Miley Thurston completed multiple assists. Great match Lady Chargers! The team will play at home Wednesday against Port Clinton.

Those student council representatives that signed up to help with the project today after school should meet Mrs. Bishop in the library. Have your ride ready to pick you up at 4.
