Today’s trivia question is: How many cookies will the average American eat during their lifetime?

The Soviak Foundation is collecting items to be donated to the Humane Society of Erie County.  Friday, Sept. 25 is the last day donations are accepted.  Donations include canned cat food, heavy duty 13 gallon trash bags, or paper towels.  A complete list was included in the Final forms email that went out yesterday.  

Fifth grade Academic Challenge team tryouts took place last week. Congratulations to the following students who have earned a position on the team:

A reminder that our first meeting will take place at lunch today, September 16th .
If you are getting a school lunch, please mention this meeting to Ms. Kennedy and then go to the front of the lunch line, pick up your lunch and report to Mrs. Litteral’s room.
Students who packed their lunch should retrieve their lunch from their lockers and go directly to Mrs. Litteral’s room.

The trivia answer is that the average American will eat 35,000 cookies during their lifetime.
