The Charger Café will serve mini corn dogs or daily grab & go, steamed peas, fresh fruit and milk for lunch.

The weather for today is a stray shower and a high of 62.

Today we are going to have 2 Staff Trivia Questions.

Our first trivia question is: Which teacher as freshman high school, was the runner-up in the Midwest Irish Dance Championships?

And now our second trivia question is: Which staff member is a fraternal twin and has 2 dogs, a cat and a breaded dragon?

The EHS Summer Volleyball Youth Camp for grades 3-8 forms and money are to be handed in to main office or given to Mrs. Bishop. The deadline is May 24. Extra forms are in the main office.

Student council is hosting a dance for EMS 8 th grade students only on May 29 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm. Dress code for the dance is no athletic wear, T-shirts or blue jeans. Outfits must be school appropriate. Suggestions would be a buttoned down shirt or polo shirt with khakis or nice
pair of shorts for the guys. Ladies a simple dress or nice pants and top. Sandals, flip flops or slides are permitted. Tickets will be sold the last week of school for $5. No tickets will be sold at the door.

Attention 7th and 8th grade Power of the Pen Writers: Let's celebrate a great season by enjoying some ice cream sundaes! When? On Wednesday, May 22nd, after school until 4 p.m. in Mrs. Wobser's room. Please email Mrs. Wobser your ice cream flavor preferences and toppings, so she has available what you like! Can't wait to see you all!

Any 8th grade student who is interested in joining the high school Cross Country team next year, should plan on attending a meeting today, May 15 during your lunch period. You may bring your lunch with you to Mrs. Vajda’s room for the meeting.

The answer for the first trivia question is Mrs. Hansen was the runner up in the Midwest Irish Danced Championships when she was a freshman in high school.

The answer for the second trivia question is that Nurse Morgan’s is a fraternal twin and has 2 dogs, a cat and a breaded dragon. Thank you Mrs. Hansen and Nurse Morgan for participating.
