It was great to see all the smiling faces coming through the doors of Edison Elementary this morning!!  Just a couple reminders as we start the new school year:

--Parents may walk their child to class through Friday, August 28.  Starting Monday, August 31 parents will not be permitted to enter the building with their child.  We will have staff members available to offer assistance if students still need help finding their classroom.
--If you are not using Morning Care services the doors don't open until 8:45.  Students being dropped off have until 9:00 to check in to their homeroom before they are marked tardy.
The east side of Main Street in front of the building is for dropoff and pickup only.  You may NOT leave your vehicle.  If you wish to leave your vehicle for any reason you must park on the west side of Main Street or in the parking lot by the A-Field.  Our goal is to keep traffic moving and get all of the students into the building safely.  We need everyone to follow these guidelines so things run smoothly.
--PaySchools Central - If you are creating a PaySchools account it will ask you for your child's ID.  You can find that ID# in Final Forms.  It will then ask you to choose a school.  Please choose Edison Chargers.  There is another Edison Local Schools in Ohio so we are listed as Edison Chargers.  If you are looking to add funds to your child's Morning Care account please use the dropdown box and choose Optional Fees.  If you have any questions please contact the elementary office
--Please be patient with school transportation for the first few weeks.  The times may be off the first couple weeks due to the number of students riding the bus.
