Morning Announcements - Friday, May 15, 2026

The EMS cafeteria will be serving pizza calzone, or Daily Grab & Go, celery, & cucumbers with ranch, fresh fruit, mini pretzels and milk for lunch today.

The weather report for today is sunny with a high of 68.

Today’s trivia question is: What does the twisted shape of pretzels symbolize?

We will now announce the winners of today’s Calendar Raffle. Today’s May 15 package A consists of a $25 Hometown Bakery Gift Card The winner is Cathy Demuth and this ticket was sold by Chloe Huether.

Today’s May 15 package B consists of a $25 Cinemark Gift Card. The winner of this prize is Jamie Erfman and the ticket was sold by Karrigan Shaffoe.

We also announce tomorrow’s winners. Saturday’s May 16 package A consists of an oil change and pizza. The winner of this prize is Aaron Kromer and the ticket was sold by Hank Shelton.

Saturday’s May 16 package B consists of an oil change and pizza. The winner of this prize is Jennifer Grant and the ticket was sold by Olivia Schafer.

We wish good luck to Sam Ruggles, Josie Rockwell, and Carly Tulik as they participate in the Power of the Pen Competition at Ashland University on Sunday and Monday. Break a Pen!

Attention 6 th & 7 th grade girls trying out for cheerleading for next school year:
1. Your parents received a message through Final Forms.
2. You must have a current physical on file with the school.
3. Free physicals at middle school on May 20.
4. Pick up a cheer packet in the office and return the last page as soon as possible.

Calling all 8th graders: Are you looking to be a leader for your Freshman Class? If so, today during lunch you may pick up a petition from Mrs. Bishop. Positions include a President, a Vice President, a Treasurer, a Secretary, a Social Chairman, and 4 Student Council Representatives.
