We will now announce the winners of today’s Calendar Raffle. Today’s May 11 package A consists of 2-$25 Sunrise Energy Certificates. The winner is Jeff Watson and this ticket was sold by Silas Watson. Today’s May 11 package B is consists of 2-$25 Sunrise Energy Certificates. The winner of this prize is Brian Cochran and the ticket was sold by Natalie Salmons
We will also announce the winners for yesterday. Saturday’s May 10 package A is a $100 Massotherphy gift certificate and a $25 Wine Post gift card. The winner of this prize is Jenny Kinney and the ticket was sold by Cooper Schaeffer.
Saturday’s May 10 package B is a relaxing basket and a $25 D’Vine Design Gift Card. The winner of this prize is Linnea Stover and the ticket was sold by Emmalee Seville.
The boys and girls track teams ended their seasons at their conference meet. The girls team finished 4th with 86 pts and the boys team took 2nd with 129 points. August Hines took 4th in shot and Delaney Marshall placed 2nd in disc. Evelyn Grady placed 4th in long jump. Kris Raymore placed 2nd in long jump and Coltin Hohler took 4th. Reese Wells finished 2nd in high jump and Max Baker took 4th. Josie Rockwell placed 3rd in pole vault followed by Jon Senko who also took 3rd.
The girls 4x800 with a time of 11:18.39 Finished first with the team of Addison McDonnell, Madison Moon, Penny Stoll, and Jillian Chase. The boys 4x800 team with a time of 10:08.32 finished first with the team of Max Johnson, Landon Capizzi, Zeke Rutger, and Austin Jones.
Saxon O’Neal and Camila Daniel finished 4th and 5th in the 100 hurdles while Liam Butler and Dylan Gale finished 2nd and 4th in the 110 hurdles. Colton Hohler finished 5th in the 100 and 3rd in the 200. The boys 4x200 team of Dom Shelley, Kris Raymore, Cooper Scheaffer and Liam Butler ran their best time 1:44.19 Addison McDonnell placed 2nd, followed by Austin Jones who ran his best race and finished 6th in the boys mile. Reese Wells finished 5th in the 400 followed by Max Baker who ran his best time of 57.91 and was the conference champion in the boys 400 meter dash. Saxon O’Neal finished 3rd in the 200 hurdles and Liam Butler took 2nd. Jillian Chase and Penny Stoll placed 5th and 6th in the 800. Followed by Zeke Rutger who had a great day and finished 3rd.
The boys 4x400 ended the season with a great race and second place finish with the team of Brody Leto, Cooper Scheaffer, Austin Quillin, and Max Baker. Great Job Chargers and Congratulations on a Great Season!
There will be a boys’ basketball open gym today, May 11 after school until 5 for all 6th and 7th grade boys interested in playing basketball next year. If you have, any questions please contact Coach Scott or Coach Campana.
