Morning Announcements - Tuesday, March 10, 2026
The cafeteria will be serving cheesy bread sticks with sauce or Daily Grab & Go, steamed broccoli, fruit choice and milk for lunch today.
The weather report for today is warmer with a high of 70.
Today’s trivia question is: What is the sun mainly consisting of?
Attention 7th graders:
Remind your parents that we need donations for the fundraising calendar. Without donations we cannot create the May fundraising calendar. Donations are to be handed by March 12. On March 12, Mrs. Bishop will be in the library collecting donations from 7:00 to 8:30am
Donation examples could be gift cards from restaurants or stores, or even a giftbasket from the hair stylist. If you have any questions, see Mr. LaCivita or Mrs. Bishop.
New Revised Penny Wars is Coming for the 6th, 7th & 8th graders. It starts on March 12 and runs through March 18. This year we have revised the rules on Penny Wars. You will want to put pennies, nickels and/or dimes into your own grade’s jug. They will add to your total. Plus, pennies will count as 2cents each. Now in the other grade’s jug you want to put in quarters or one dollar bills. They will subtract from the total. The battle should be interesting this year.
The following students should report to Mr. Smith's office at this time:
Lucca Caponi
Emma Dickerson
Karlynne Hay
Harper Jensen
Brinley Buck
Thea Weilnau
Emmie Wheeler
Eliza Wheeler
Avery Barnett
Would these students please report to the library to meet with Mrs. Bishop for about 10 minutes right after the announcements. They are Keegan Stover, Serenity Winters, Megan Thompson and Gabriella Johnson
The trivia answer is that the sun mainly consists of hydrogen and helium.
We would like to close with this quote from German novelist Thomas Mann “Laughter is a sunbeam of the soul.”
