My name is Dean Stanfield and I am the Director of Curriculum in the Edison Local School District. My career in education began at Edison as a High School Science teacher in 1993. I also coached high school cross country and track until 2010.
In 2010, I accepted the principal position at Meadowlawn Intermediate School in the Perkins Local School District. I was the elementary principal for three years before I moved to the high school building where I was a principal for three years.
In 2016, I was excited to rejoin the Edison team as Curriculum Director, and look forward to working with our remarkable staff to creating innovative and engaging programs and supports for our students, and I am dedicated to providing a nurturing, challenging, and supportive environment for our students and staff.
The Office of Curriculum and Instruction is committed to providing the students of Edison with a well-rounded education that develops the whole child. Our office oversees professional development, implementation of district initiatives through our teacher leaders, and revisions to the curriculum.
