Today’s trivia question is: Which country has the longest school year?

The 8th grade volleyball team played Norwalk last night and lost two close sets. Gracie Leimeister led the chargers with six kills. The team travels to St. Paul tonight to take on the flyers. Let’s go lady chargers!

The 7th Grade Volleyball team fell to Norwalk in 3 hard fought sets. 23-25, 25-23 and 20-25. Leading the Chargers was Lily Hedges with more than 15 kills, Lilly Thompson with 11 service points and Addi Ebinger with 10 service points.

The 8th grade football team lost to Perkins 28–14 in a hard-fought game. Austin Quillen rushed for a touchdown, while Grant Schnittker caught a touchdown pass from Dom Shelley. Schnittker also recorded a sack, and the Chargers’ defense added multiple quarterback pressures throughout the game.

Any 6th, 7th, or 8th grade student who is interested in running for student council may pick up an application packet today.
8th grade reps will be coming to the 6th grade room right after these announcements to explain, answer and hand out applications today.
7th & 8th grade students may get an application packet from Mrs. Bishop during Win or at lunch.

The trivia answer is that Japan has the longest school year in the country.

We would like to close with this quote from Ray LeBlond: “You can learn something every day if you pay attention.”
