The seventh grade Chargers football team took a tough loss last night to Norwalk by a score of 14 to 6.
The Chargers defense played very well last night led by outside linebacker Colton Petznick and safety Levi Wells.
Also on defense Parker Smith and Mallix Dawson, Gabe Lucal, and Jonah Slie had several tackles.
The offensive line came out in the second half and dominated Norwalk and with Colton Petznick, and Gage Yamanouchi running the ball.
Colton Petznick scored a td from 4 yards out.
The Chargers play Bellevue at home Thursday.
The 8th grade football team defeated Norwalk 28-14.
Austin Quillen led the offense with 3 touchdowns and a 2-point conversion, while Dom Shelley added a touchdown and Grant Schnittker scored a 2-point conversion.
Cooper Schaeffer did a nice job commanding the offense at quarterback.
Defensively, Silas Watson and Grant Schnittker each had 2 interceptions, Cooper added a fumble recovery, Gabe Matter recorded a sack, and Mitch Asham and Sylus Palinksi added a tackle for loss.

The high school TLC class will be hosting their annual Homecoming Color Run race on Sunday September 27th to kick off Homecoming week...and they're inviting us to join the fun.
The community race will take place at 7pm, so please inform your family and friends.
It is ONLY 1 mile, and it is FREE!
However, they will be taking donations.
Also, there will be AWESOME PRIZES!!! Everyone should come to the race for a fun time…SEE YOU THERE!

5th grade has pulled out in front with 7th grade close behind.
4th and 8th grade are tied and waiting for today's attendance to decide the race.
And 6th grade is still in it to win it.
