Today is Thursday, September 17, 2026 and it’s Fun Day after school for the 4th & 5th grade.

The lunch menu for today is Charger cheeseburger, or Daily Grab & Go, potato wedges, pickle spear, fruit choice and milk.

The weather report for today is cloudy with a chance of rain and a high of 74.

Today’s trivia question is: How many grooves are there on the edge of a quarter?  

Those student council reps who signed up to help out at the 4th & 5th grade Fun Day should meet Mrs. Bishop downstairs in the student council room.  
Bring everything with you that you need to take home.  

The 8th grade volleyball team lost in an intense three set match last night against Port Clinton.
Miley Thurston lead the Chargers with 10 service points, 11 assists, and 1 kill.
Harper Buttermore had an impressive 9 kills!
Emmallee Seville had 9 assists.
Lilliana McCoy put down 4 kills and Elsy Traut contributed 3 kills.
The Lady Chargers will take on Margaretta at home Saturday morning with 7th grade beginning at 9am. Come out and support the girls!  Admission is $5 for students and $6 for adults.

Monday the 7th grade volleyball team lost a hard fought match to Huron in 2 sets. 19-25 and 21-25.
Leading the Charger’s was Addie Biller with 10 service points and Lilly Thompson with 5.
Lily Hedges also contributed 14 kills!
Yesterday the 7th grade volleyball beat Port Clinton in 2 sets! 25-20 and 25-14.
Leading the Chargers was Lily Hedges with 6 service points and 7 kills!  

The trivia answer is that there are 119 grooves on the edge of a quarter.
